Alex Anders is a Swedish producer/engineer who’s career has run the gamut from Bluegrass to Pop, performer to producer, from records to TV and Film.

He is best known for his work as vocal producer and engineer for the award winning, and record setting, phenomenon that was Glee, His work can be heard on singles that have racked up over 150 Billboard Hot 100 entries, 3 #1’s on the Billboard 200 album chart, and numerous #1’s on the Billboard Soundtracks chart. Over the years, the projects he has worked on have sold in the tens of millions, and received multiple Grammy nominations, including Best Compilation Soundtrack, and Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album.


Having grown up on the road, singing and playing guitar with his family, Alex’s engineering career began in Nashville. After studying music business and recording arts at Belmont University, he was hired by country legend Ricky Skaggs, to build and then manage Skaggs Place Studios. Over the following years, he was able to hone his craft, by learning from some of the best engineers and musicians in Bluegrass, Country, and Americana. Working on two Grammy winning projects in the process.

After his time with Skaggs, Alex got the call to join his brother, pop producer and songwriter Adam Anders, out in Los Angeles, Since his heart had always been in pop music, he jumped at the chance to work with his brother again. This would be the start of a string of collaborations that continue to this day. After many years of working only on records, the focus changed to music for TV and Film. Here, Alex was able to find a niche. While working on all 6 seasons of the hit show Glee, as vocal producer/engineer, he solidified his place in the field. Becoming known for his exceptional ability to bring the best out of every performance.

Today, he continues to work on numerous musically driven TV and Film projects from Nickelodeon, Disney, Sony, Lions Gate, FOX, ABC, and more. All while continuing his work in helping today’s top artists sound their best.

You will find his vocal production work on the aforementioned Glee, Rock of Ages, The Prom, Monarch, American Horror Story, Disney’s The Descendants. Zombies, Journey To Bethlehem, Unsung Hero, and many more.

In addition, he has been instrumental in many record projects for top artists, including his Grammy nominated work for CeeLo, Rob Thomas, Lea Michelle, For King & Country, David Leonard, Tasha Layton, and many more.
